About Our Camp

July 15-July 26 (Monday-Friday) from 7:45am-4:00pm at Riverside Meadows Intermediate School, Performance at Yuba College Theater

Back by POPULAR demand, join us for our second musical theatre camp! This camp, open to students in the community ages 7-14, teaches acting, singing, and dancing through the production of Finding Nemo JR. Students learn lines, choreography, and music for the show from musical theatre teachers in the Sacramento Valley, and the camp culminates with a community performance in a state-of-the-art theatre facility in our community!

This camp is a musical theatre intensive, meaning that it's very focused on vocal, dance, and acting training. We produce a full musical in 2 weeks, and thus the camp is a fast-paced environment. Being part of a musical is an incredibly rewarding experience, but it does take dedication and commitment from our talented campers.

This also doesn't mean we won't have LOTS of fun along the way! In addition to working on the production with a music, dance, and theatre teacher, students will spend time creating their sets and props for the show, and becoming well-rounded artists along the way. We will be playing LOTS of theatre games, and will even have camp activities woven throughout the day that align with our Finding Nemo theme.

The camp site will be at Riverside Meadows in Plumas Lake, and we will move over to the Yuba College Theater for our final camp days (and the final performance). Campers are with us from 8:00am-3:45pm (with a grace period for drop off from 7:45-8:00, and a grace period for pick-up from 3:45-4:00).
