About Our Camp
June 13-June 17 (Monday-Friday) from 7:30am-5:30pm at Bridge Street Elementary School
Join us this summer for a new performing arts camp designed for young learners! In this camp, children receive an introduction to the performing arts through an immersive camp experience, designed specifically for kids ages 4-6. Parents can choose between a morning session (8:00am-12:00pm, with a half-hour grace period for drop off from 7:30-8:00am, and for pick up from 12:00-12:30pm) or an afternoon session (1:00pm-5:00pm, with a half hour grace-period for drop off from 12:30pm-1:00pm, and for pick up from 5:00pm-5:30pm). Breakfast and lunch are provided to all campers for free, thanks to a partnership with the YCUSD Summer Meal Program.

The camp is led by a performing arts teacher, who creates and teaches a well-rounded curriculum of performing arts classes and activities to participants throughout their half-day at camp. Students learn to sing, dance, and perform to some of their favorite songs, and discover some new ones with their classmates. Our hands on, immersive approach to performing arts education ensures that students will be up-on-their-feet, performing and creating together in an enriching and rewarding educational environment.
In addition to performing arts curriculum, students will participate in several camp activities during their day, including crafts and other enrichment activities to keep their young minds refreshed. We think breaks are important to a successful learning environment, so recesses and nutritional breaks are woven into our schedule. We like to have fun at camp, and we have a history of designing camps that give students unforgettable experiences, both in and out of the classroom. At the end of the day, if we're able to make a child fall in love with performing, or even just see them come out of their shell onstage, we know we've done our job.

Our camp staff are professionals in their field, who are passionate about performing arts education and love working with young children to see them reach their potential onstage. Our Teacher and Assistant Teacher both work directly with campers to curate those positive and fun camp experiences, and our administrative team work to ensure that students are healthy and happy while at camp. At Rise Up, kids come first—always!
This one-week camp culminates in a FREE final performance for friends and family, showcasing what students have learned during their time at camp. Students work on performance projects with their teacher, and at the end of the camp perform those projects at this showcase! It's the most rewarding part of the process for us, and it's an opportunity for parents, friends, and family to see their little stars shine onstage.

If you're looking for an unforgettable experience for your child this summer, look no further! With enriching classes, fun activities, a caring staff, free meals, and a free final performance for friends and family, this is truly a camp that kids and parents will love. Our camp staff are SO excited for this program, it is quite possibly the most highly anticipated camp of the season for our team!
