$500 fixed fee
The Camp Lead assists the Camp Director in all administrative duties. They are the second-in-command, in charge of managing the camp when the Camp Director is not present. The Camp Lead is directly in charge of student discipline and camp safety, and works with the Camp Director to establish a disciplinary structure and safety plan. Responsibilities include directly overseeing staff; assisting in clerical work for the program; ensuring maximum health and safety of all students; and completing other duties as necessary. Administrators may be asked to serve as a temporary substitute in a performing arts classroom in the event of teacher absence. Current First Aid/CPR Certification required. At least one year in a childcare or educational job setting required. Experience working in the performing arts field is preferred. As a condition of contract, Independent Contractors will need to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19. Parents, if you apply and are chosen for the position, ALL of your children will be able to attend our camp for FREE as long as they are within our age range!
Camp Teachers (3)
$200 per 2.5 hour shift, or $600 full time
We are hiring for 3 positions: Theatre Teacher, Dance Teacher, and Music Teacher. Staff can choose to work 2.5, 4, or a full time shift. Our staff teach three blocks of classes in the summer camp schedule, with three different age groups. Responsibilities include creating and implementing a dance curriculum; teaching students in the summer camp setting; organizing and facilitating a safe and supportive learning environment; and designing, coordinating, and leading students through a chosen performance project to be presented on the last day of camp. Teachers will also be expected to prepare for each class and perform some minimal cleaning duties as needed. At least one year of experience working in a performing arts setting is required. One year working in an education or child-care setting is preferred. As a condition of contract, Independent Contractors will need to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19.
