Sarah Hauck

Sarah Hauck is a current student at California State University, Chico majoring in Music Education. She has previously been involved in the technical aspects of theatre, such as lighting design and backstage work, and has taught music at the Paragon Collegiate Academy After School Program. In the future, Sarah plans to use her musical talents to inspire the next generation of artists as a music teacher. In her spare time, Sarah’s hobbies include playing her bass clarinet, piano, ukulele, practicing singing, and crocheting. “My favorite part of teaching is when you see the spark in a child’s eyes as they grasp a concept and become confident in themselves and their own abilities.”

Casey Brazil-Nine

Fundraising Committee Chair

Casey Brazil-Nine has experience performing in local theater in Los Angeles as a young adult, as well as creating costumes and doing hair and make-up. She has been supporting youth theater programs in the community for several years by costuming productions at Marysville Charter Academy for the Arts including: Legally Blonde, Twelfth Night and The Pajama Game. She works full time as a medical office administrator and is pursuing a master’s degree in Health Care Administration, but always makes time for Rise Up!

Josie Aspinwall

Josie Aspinwall recently attended Southern Oregon University where she majored in Communications with a minor in Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies (GSWS). She took drama and dance classes throughout high school at Marysville Charter Academy for the Arts, which helped her grow from being shy and introverted to having one of the loudest and proudest voices onstage. Her favorite theater memories include writing and directing her own one-act play, playing the role of Olivia in Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, and performing skits with her friends in the school's showcase. She has been working with Rise Up in various capacities for a year, and is excited for her new role as Secretary!
