An Online Dance Class for Kids Ages 3-5

Our class has moved ONLINE via Zoom. If you are interested in joining us, please click the link below to send an email!

These classes take kids ages 3-5 through the fundamentals of dance, in an age-appropriate class designed specifically for the young child. This program is being offered in partnership with First Five Yuba County Children and Families Commission. 

​

Classes are offered at $25 a month, with a $15 additional sibling discount. Classes start the first week of February, and end in June with a final performance for friends and family! Classes are Fridays, from 4:00-5:00pm via Zoom. All classes

Meet Our Dance Teacher!

Kara Roberts

Studio Teacher

Kara Roberts is a student at Yuba College, studying to work in education and childcare. She currently works at Katie Berry Dance as a Studio Instructor, teaching students of various experience levels and age groups. She is the resident dance teacher for Rise Up, and has taught in many of our programs, including: Applause KIDS, Broadway KIDS, Intro to Dance, Summer Intro to Dance, Summer Arts Academy, and Little Mermaid JR. Previously, Kara has worked as both a preschool teaching assistant, as well as a dance teaching assistant at Marysville Charter Academy for the Arts. She has choreographed various musicals, including The Pajama Game and Nice Work If You Can Get It at MCAA. Kara has also worked oversees in Africa, teaching dance to underprivileged children. Kara plans on becoming a teacher, using her art to shape and inspire young minds in the Yuba Sutter community. In her free time, she enjoys reading and writing poetry.
